On Sunday October 30, 2011, the Pt Lookout Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring its annual Pumpkin Walk and Mini-ball with the Pt Lookout Civic Association and local merchants. The Pt Lookout Pumpkin Walk is a fun, festive, family-oriented event that had its humble beginnings as a simple and fun activity for neighborhood children to enjoy Halloween. Children from Pt Lookout and the surrounding areas dress in costume and parade down Lido Blvd. At the end of the parade route, marchers and their families are invited to participate in a Monster-Ball complete with snacks, cookies, apple cider, music and entertainment. Over the years, the activity has grown in numbers with the participation of children beyond the Pt Lookout community. The event is free for all who attend.
